        On October 27, 2018, the handover ceremony of 1,000 movable wooden houses provided by the Chinese government to Myanmar was held in Rangoon's Dilawa Port.
 

        Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Hong Liang and Myanmar Deputy Minister of Construction Kyaw Lin signed the transfer certificates on behalf of the two governments respectively. Ambassador Hong Liang presented the certificate to Myanmar Minister of State for Investment Kyaw Dingshui, marking the official transfer of the batch of materials to Myanmar.Chief Minister of Yangon Province Pou Min Deng, Deputy Minister of The Ministry of Social Welfare and Relief and Resettlement of Myanmar Soe Aung, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar Xie Guoxiang and other officials attended the handover ceremony.

 

 

 

 

 

 

         Myanmar stated that the 1,000 sets of prefabricated house provided by China and have provided important help to the Myanmar government in resettling the displaced people in Rakhine State. Beijing Chengdong International Modular Housing Corporation provided 1000 sets of prefabricated house for Myanmar.
