The overall masterplan follows the classic Siheyuan central axis, forming a strong, progressively deep spatial sequence where enclosed building volumes and open courtyards interlock to create a balanced sense of order and openness. 3. For both interior and exterior finishes, the design extensively applies antique-style doors and windows to restore the visual language of traditional Chinese architecture. The Hebei Cangzhou Zhongjian Road & Bridge Project is located in Hebei Cangzhou and serves as a project headquarters combining office, reception, exhibition, rest and support functions within a modular camp environment.
The total construction area is approximately 1,564 square meters, with 86 modular box cabins used as the primary building units for the entire compound. The camp adopts a traditional Siheyuan layout, with a clear central axis and three progressive courtyards forming an enclosed yet open spatial sequence. The overall footprint is about 53 meters by 27 meters, with four sides enclosing multiple courtyards and a front reception hall at the entrance and support rooms at the rear.
This central axis layout creates a strong sense of order and hierarchy, while the modular houses are arranged to balance circulation efficiency with a ceremonial arrival experience for visitors.

The internal layout is divided into four major functional zones: front reception hall, office zone, rest and leisure zone, and back-of-house auxiliary support rooms. Circulation is clearly separated between external visitors and internal project staff, with no cross-flow between main receptions, workspaces and logistics routes.
The combination of buildings, covered corridors and courtyards creates a layered transition from indoor to semi-outdoor to outdoor spaces, ensuring both operational efficiency and a comfortable experience for users.
