The exterior walls use galvanized technical carved metal panels with strong corrosion and wind resistance, while the container structure combines hot-dip galvanized steel frames and insulated wall panels to stay stable and comfortable in high-humidity, salt-spray environments.Ying-Di-Shou-Ce-2.0Ban-Ya-Suo.pdf+1
5. Third-floor rooftop leisure deck
The third-floor roof is finished with wood-plastic composite decking to create an anti-slip, moisture-resistant and UV-resistant leisure terrace, ideal for sea-view breakfasts, evening gatherings and resort-style public space.
6. Integrated camp systems behind modular accommodation
The project is supported by Chengdong’s “Nine Systems” camp platform, integrating building, water, power, weak current, fire protection, security, road and landscape systems, so the container hotel delivers functions comparable to traditional concrete hotels while retaining the rapid deployment and relocatable advantages of modular accommodation.
The Samoa Container Hotel Project is a high-end modular accommodation solution delivered by Chengdong, leveraging flat pack container house technology to provide safe, comfortable and quickly deployable hotel rooms for local tourism and business travelers.
The Samoa Container Hotel Project is built on a standardized modular accommodation system, combining factory-prefabricated container modules with customized interior fit-out to achieve fast-track design, production and on-site installation.
The hotel adopts a multi-storey container configuration, with the third-floor rooftop designed as an open leisure deck using wood-plastic composite flooring to meet resort hotel requirements for outdoor landscape and relaxation areas.
Each guest room follows a “full interior fit-out plus complete furniture and appliances” delivery model, enabling hotel operation immediately after installation.
Furniture, home appliances and interior lighting styles are all confirmed with Chengdong’s sales team in advance, ensuring that design aligns with the hotel brand, target customer segment and operational positioning.
Interior walls are finished with bamboo-wood fiber boards, offering a durable decorative surface with customizable color schemes, which are selected together with the sales representative to match the overall visual identity of the project.
Flooring adopts engineered wood systems installed on top of the container structure’s moisture-control layer, allowing the modular accommodation to maintain a comfortable walking experience and long service life in Samoa’s tropical marine climate.
Each room is equipped with a complete bathroom suite, including integral shower area, sanitary ware and necessary storage accessories, all supplied through Chengdong’s modular bathroom system to shorten construction time and simplify installation.
Given the higher average body weight of local residents, the project uses larger toilet models with enhanced load-bearing performance, and the full bathroom suite configuration and toilet styles are confirmed with the sales team during the design phase.
The third-floor rooftop uses wood-plastic composite decking featuring anti-slip, moisture-resistant and UV-resistant properties, creating a safe leisure terrace suitable for breakfast service, evening gatherings and sea-view relaxation.
The hotel façade is finished with galvanized technical carved metal panels that provide strong corrosion resistance and wind resistance, maintaining both appearance and structural reliability under high humidity and salt-spray conditions near the coastline.
The container hotel structure combines hot-dip galvanized steel frames with high-performance insulated wall panels, providing robust wind resistance, long-term durability and energy efficiency for modular accommodation in island environments.
All building, MEP and safety systems follow Chengdong’s “Nine Systems” camp platform, covering building structures, water supply and drainage, power supply, weak current, fire protection, security, traffic and road facilities, environmental landscaping and environmental protection, so that the container hotel delivers functions comparable to conventional concrete hotels while retaining the flexibility and relocatability of modular buildings.
